How many sessions will I need?

OptiLIFT treatment protocol includes four sessions, with a one to two week interval between them. We’ve seen results in some patients after only one or two OptiLIFT treatments, and there continues to be progressive improvement through treatments three and four. The goal is to tone and strengthen by providing an eyelid “workout” resulting in a naturally firm muscle at a newly fit baseline. This provides long-lasting improvement in tone and tightness without the need for surgery.

What can I expect during treatment?

The procedure is noninvasive and typically well-tolerated. You will experience warmth and a mild pulse or slight twitching. The treatment involves a specialized device, using a back-and-forth motion along the inferior orbital rim below the lower eyelids for 14 minutes, seven minutes per side.

Am I a candidate for OptiLIFT?

The ideal candidates for OptiLIFT are not limited to older patients experiencing severe lid laxity. The technology is beneficial for individuals in their 30s and 40s who suffer from screen-related blink deficiencies, partial blinking, and meibomian gland dysfunction. The treatment also addresses external lagophthalmos, where incomplete eye closure at night contributes to ocular surface exposure and dryness

How much does OptiLIFT cost?

OptiLIFT is $400 per session. While the initial cost of OptiLIFT dry eye treatment may be a consideration for some individuals, it is essential to consider the long-term cost savings. By addressing the underlying causes of dry eye syndrome, OptiLIFT treatment can reduce the need for ongoing treatment, such as artificial tears or medicated eye drops and heat masks, thus saving on recurring expenses in the future. We believe the benefits of OptiLIFT dry eye treatment outweigh the associated cost, offering long-lasting relief, improved vision, and enhanced quality of life for individuals suffering from dry eye syndrome.
